# Backlink exchange

Backlink exchange is an opt-in, reciprocal partner network for verified websites on any plan. Each member shows a visible block labelled “Partners” listing 5 to 10 relevant member sites (Starter 5, Growth 6, Scale 8, Pro, Business and Enterprise 10) and receives the same number of links back on other members' sites. Links use your brand name or domain, carry rel="sponsored noopener" by default (or nofollow), and are identical for visitors and search engine crawlers. It is a disclosed partner network, not a way to buy ranking: search engines can treat sponsored and nofollow links as hints only.

- **Opt in per website**: Choose your category, language and country, how many partners to show (5–10), your brand or domain as anchor text, the page to link to, and categories or domains to exclude.
- **Visible by design**: Links sit in a block labelled “Partners” that every visitor can see. The same HTML is served to people and crawlers: no hidden text, cloaking or user-agent switching.
- **Sponsored, not followed**: Every link carries rel="sponsored noopener" by default, or rel="nofollow noopener" if you prefer. There is no followed-link option.
- **Relevant matching**: Partners are matched by category and language (same-country sites rank higher), never from your own organisation, and rotated across the pool so you avoid direct one-for-one swaps where possible.
- **Balanced and checked**: You show as many links as you receive. We check your homepage before you join and every day after; if your block goes missing, your links on other sites pause until it's back.
- **Tiny install**: A dependency-free async script under 3 KB gzipped that reserves its space (no layout shift) and follows light or dark mode, or a server-side HTML snippet. JSON endpoint, CSV export and API included.
