# Deleting an organisation

What happens when an owner deletes an organisation.

Only the owner can delete an organisation, from Settings → Danger zone, by typing its slug. If 2FA is on, you'll need a 2FA-verified session.

- Queued searches are cancelled and nothing new is scheduled.
- Members lose access straight away.
- Cancel paid plans in Billing first. Invoices remain available on request.
- Data is permanently erased after 30 days.
