# Uptime monitoring and status pages

Monitors, incidents, alerts, maintenance and your public status page.

Uptime works on the website picked in the header switcher. Open Dashboard → Uptime to add monitors, then Status page to publish a branded page at serpfull.com/status/your-name.

## Monitor types

- Website: requests a URL and checks the status code (any 2xx/3xx by default, or the exact code you expect), and optionally a word or phrase that must be on the page or must not be.
- SSL certificate: alerts when the certificate is invalid or expires within your warning window (14 days by default). Checked hourly.
- Domain expiry: reads the registration's expiry date and warns before it lapses. Checked twice a day.
- Port: opens a connection to a host and port (for example a mail or database server).
- Heartbeat: gives you a private ping address. Call it (GET, POST or HEAD) whenever your job runs; if it doesn't arrive within the interval plus grace period, an incident opens.

## Incidents and alerts

A failed check is retried after 2 seconds before it counts. An incident opens after the number of failures in a row you choose (2 by default) and closes on the first successful check, with a recovery notice. Alerts go to the notification bell, by email to your team, and to an optional webhook in plain JSON or chat format (a {"text": …} body most chat apps accept). A cooldown stops repeat alerts. You can post updates to an incident, open one by hand and choose whether it shows on the status page.

## Maintenance

Schedule a window (in UK time) for some or all monitors. Checks keep running, but no incidents or alerts are raised and the status page shows the maintenance.

## Status page

Choose a name, logo, favicon, colours (or import them from your website), light or dark theme, one of 30 fonts served from our own servers, header links, which monitors to show and whether search engines may index it. Visitors can subscribe by email (confirmed by a link) to incident updates. On Scale and above you can add a password and custom CSS (up to 8,000 characters; imports, scripts and external addresses are removed); from Pro you can hide “Powered by Serpfull”.

## Limits

- Monitors per website: Starter 5, Growth 20, Scale 50, Pro 100, Business 300, Enterprise 1,000.
