# SEO audit

Status: live

SEO audit is included on every plan. You choose the pages to track on your verified website (10 to 1,000 per website depending on plan). Each audit is one polite request to the page from our servers that respects robots.txt, then 13 scored check categories: title and description, headings, indexing (canonical, robots, hreflang), social previews, structured data, images, links (with a broken-link sample), content and readability, keyword usage against your tracked search terms, HTTPS and mixed content, speed, weight and caching, mobile, and answer-engine readiness (FAQ and HowTo markup, question-style headings). Pages are re-audited weekly by default, with history, a fixed/new issue diff, competitor page comparison, alerts, webhooks, CSV and print export, and API access on Scale and above.

- **13 scored check categories**: Title and description (length and duplicates across your pages), headings, canonical, robots and hreflang, social preview tags, structured data types and validity, image alt text and size, internal, external and broken links, word count and readability, keyword usage, HTTPS and mixed content, response time, page weight, compression and caching, and the mobile viewport.
- **Answer-engine readiness**: Checks for FAQ and HowTo markup, headings phrased as questions and a concise answer beneath each one, plus lists and tables that are easy to quote.
- **Fixes in priority order**: Every issue comes with a plain-English fix, ranked by severity and by how much that check counts towards the page score.
- **Keyword usage from your search terms**: For the search terms that target the page, or that our runs saw it ranking for: title, H1, description, URL, first 100 words, uses and density.
- **History and diffs**: Score and category scores over time, a chart, and what was fixed or newly broken between any two audits. Re-audits run weekly by default, or monthly, or daily on Scale and above.
- **Compare with competitor pages**: Suggestions come from the results pages your runs already capture for the same terms. Audit them with the same checks and see a side-by-side table plus “enhance ours” recommendations: structured data they use, sections, FAQs, depth, internal links and more.
- **Alerts, webhooks and exports**: In-app notices and the audit.completed and audit.score_dropped webhook events, CSV export of pages, issues and history, and a print layout you can save as PDF.
- **API**: Read pages, audits, issues and limits, and start an audit over the REST API on Scale and above, with the same limits as the app.
