Domain monitor dashboard with sample domains, expiry dates, email security grades and recent DNS changes

Kort fortalt

Domain monitor combines domain and SSL expiry alerts, full DNS record history (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT, CAA), SPF, DMARC and DKIM grading, blocklist checks and a propagation map from 50+ locations when records change. Registrar, lock and nameserver changes alert straight away. Scheduled checks from daily to hourly by plan.

Why Domain monitor

The problem
An expired domain or certificate takes a site and its email offline, and an unexpected DNS or registrar change can mean a mistake or a hijack. Most teams find out after the damage is done.
With Domain monitor
Domain monitor watches expiry dates, DNS records, registrar details and email authentication on a schedule, and tells you about every change with before and after values.

How it works

    We check on a schedule

Registration, certificates, DNS records, email authentication and blocklists are checked at your plan’s interval.

  3. 03

    Get alerts on changes

Expiry thresholds, registrar and lock changes and DNS edits are flagged with before and after values.

  4. 04

    Watch propagation

When you change a record, check it from 50+ locations and see which have picked up the new value.

Questions

Domain monitor FAQ

How often are domains checked?

At the interval your website’s plan allows, from daily to hourly, as shown in the table on this page. You can run a check yourself at any time.

How many domains can I watch?

It depends on your website’s plan, as shown in the table on this page. They don’t have to be the website’s own domain.

What does the propagation check show?

Which answer each location gets for a record right now, how consistent they are, how long resolvers may cache the old value and, if you enter the new value, which locations have picked it up.

When do expiry alerts go out?

At 60, 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before expiry by default, once per threshold, with a confirmation when the renewal is seen.

Which DNS records are tracked?

A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT and CAA records on the domain and its www host.

Who gets alerts?

Everyone set to receive notifications in your organisation, in the notification bell and by email, plus your signed webhooks.

Don’t let a domain lapse quietly.

Add your domains and get told about expiry, DNS and registrar changes before they cause trouble.
