An AI Overview term is a search term or question plus an optional target page. Each run detects the AI Overview, expands it to read every source and records whether you're cited, your position among the sources and which other domains are cited.

No overview vs not cited

  • No AI Overview shown: the search didn't trigger one. Consider related questions instead.
  • Not cited: an overview was shown but used other sources. Compare what those pages answer that yours doesn't.
