Competitors uses the results pages your runs already load: the organic listings up to position 30 with domain, position, page, title and URL. Nothing extra is searched and no outside accounts are connected. A run stops paging once it finds your listing, so a term on page one usually only has page one for that run.
Suggestions and tracking
Suggestions are domains seen most often for your terms in the last 30 or 90 days. Press Track to add one. Plans allow from 3 tracked competitors per website on Starter up to 50 on Enterprise; removing one keeps its history.
Alerts
Once a day, a tracked competitor that moves 3 or more places within the top 10, or enters or leaves the top 10 or top 30, creates an in-app notification and a competitor.rank.changed webhook event.
Check your understanding
A tracked competitor moves from position 8 to 6. Does that create an alert?
